What are your top three favorite essential oils? I know… I can’t pick just three either! But sometimes it’s good to sit down and really take a look at the properties of some of our favorite go-to’s. This week I LOVED chatting with Gold Leaf Tribe creator Amanda Johnson to remind myself of the beauty and power of Frankincense, Valor, and Lemon. We also discuss Peppermint and Lavender, especially as they relate to our wellness cabinets! Don’t let FEAR stop you from taking charge of your health. Amanda’s advice for new oil users? Just open the bottle and USE! Your body will tell you what it’s loving and what it can do without.
Are you concerned about over use? Think about tylenol or ibuprofen. We use these medicines all the time, and doctors know that we as adults can use common sense enough to not overuse. Let’s ditch the idea that you need to be a scientist to safely use essential oils. Just because it’s not mainstream doesn’t mean you need to go into paranoid “extra extra extra” careful mode. In fact, many mainstream items, like household cleaners, makeup, and products give me way more pause than my oils. Just like everything- too much of any one thing is never a good idea.
