Most of us have been affected by cancer in some form or fashion, whether personally or by association. A small percentage of cancer cases can be traced to genetics, but the lion’s share of cases have been associated with toxic overload and chronic inflammation. Today we discuss environmental toxins, toxins in the food supply, and emotional toxins to avoid to choose a healthier lifestyle.

Andrea Jones is a pediatric nurse turned health coach, mother of 2 and business owner. Andrea went from a conventional medical practice to supporting people holistically in a way that bridges the gap between doctors visits and achieving personal health goals.

Her own health crisis and the death of both of her parents to cancer opened her eyes to the need for a more holistic, preventative approach to health. For Andrea, that includes a heavy focus on nutrition, essential oils, and emotional and spiritual health practices that support the whole person.

When so many U.S. consumer products contain known carcinogens…when a stressful lifestyle is the norm of a culture…we can’t just sit back and expect others to look out for us. It is up to each of us to say no to the substances and lifestyles that knock our bodies out of balance. This episode is about empowering ourselves with information so we can make the choices to support health and life.
